Description:
The first 200 years of the Roman Empire was a tine of general peace and prosperity. Stable government and a well-run army helped Rome grow wealthy. We call this the Pax Romana, or Roman peace. It lasted until the AD 180s. On;y people in Italy could be Roman citizens at this time. In the early 200s, all free people living in the Roman Empire were given the rights to citizen. However many there people who worked in Roman homes, farms, an mines, and had few rights.
