Hapsburg Valois Wars (apr 28, 1494 – jun 22, 1559)
Description:
A series of wars fought in and around Italy that eventually involved all the major European powers as well as the Italian city states. Much of the war was fought as a sort of proxy conflict between the French and Hapsburgs to prevent the other from growing too powerful. Additionally, Kind Ferdinand brought Spain to power through entering the conflict against the Spanish and set up Spain to be a major colonial power.Added to timeline:
