Description:
King Philip II, king of Spain, was plotting with Mary Tudor to overthrow Queen Elizabeth and bring back Catholicism, but she died before they could take action. Philip decided to try and take over England to rid it of Protestantism by sending a large fleet to attack England. England reigned victorious and the majority of Spanish ships were sunk.Added to timeline:
