Stamp Act (mar 18, 1766 – jan 28, 1772)
Description:
The Stamp Act made it so that every printed document were only issued on special stamped paper purchased from stamp distributors. Further this was established in a time when Britain was still a debt and needed to collect taxes to pay it off. In addition it caused the colonists to rebel and causing tax collectors by tar and feathering them.Added to timeline:
