Sugar Act (apr 5, 1764 – aug 7, 1766)

Description:

The Sugar Act taxed sugar, coffee, tea, wine and other imports . This act tried to eliminate sugar and molasses smugglers. Further it was also established to pay off the debt from the French and Indian War.
