The committee of Public Safety was under the control of Maximilien Robespierre.The number of people accused to work against the revolution augmented ( 16,594 people died under the guillotine approximatelly)
Marxist historians claim that the reign of terror was necessary.
But did the foreign powers contribute to that in any way?
