When was this bill signed by the president (Passed) (nov 18, 1988 – feb 21, 1989)

Description:

Ronald Reagan (Democrat) signed and passed the bill

This law changed everything like to make crack cocaine the only drug with a mandatory minimum penalty for a first offense of simple possession.

It was a bill for 4 months

A major change to the law is The Act made possession of more than five grams of a mixture or substance containing cocaine base punishable by at least five years in prison.

I chose this law because I see things like this everywhere in the world and I wanted to see how it all came to be.

This hasn't been challenged in court.

The outcomes of this law was positive it stopped a lot of drug trafficking.

This bill is affecting the world today by stopping people from trying to sell drugs across the countries and making it harder for them to get drugs.
