100 Years War (sep 6, 1337 – aug 7, 1453)

Description:

The Hundred Years' War was a long struggle between England and France over succession to the French throne. The war started because Charles IV of France died in 1328 without a son. Edward III of England then believed he had the right to become the new king of France through his mother. The succession of conflicts known as the Hundred Years War ended on October 19th, 1453, when Bordeaux surrendered, leaving Calais as the last English possession in France
