IIIrd LTTA meeting for students in Stawiszyn, Poland Preparation of the Less Play The main purpose of student exchange was the stage adaptation of a jointly written international story, which the students played together, thus celebrating the final of the project entitled LESS - Long European Slide Story - Innovative Methods for Developing Literacy and ICT Skill.
There was also time to celebrate the European holiday, which is the day of the European Union celebrated on 9 May. The pupils made a huge flag of the Union, which was presented in the school's courtyard, with the anthem "Ode to Joy". At the end, more than 50 pairs danced "Belgian dance". Main activities 1) Forming an international workshop context involving foreign trainers, pupils and teachers. 2) Team building: getting to know each other. TIE elements and interactive art methods for forming a cooperative group able to work with each other 3) Round table discussions with nonformal methods on exchanging first ideas and outcomes on the theatrical perfomance of LESS. Guidelines, ideas, roles , stage decorations. 4) Professisonal workshops and rehersals - group works. Designing and building up the scenario of the play, according to ideas and examined examples. 5) Thematic seminars: Identifying project results and planning further sustainability steps for participants. Discussing network strategy, further cooperation possibilities and sustainability based on pupils' ideas. Sharing tasks, territories to work on. Matching plans for effective results. 6) Staging the play for Stawiszyn community
