Description:

Jesus of Nazareth was a Jewish religious leader who became a central figure in Christianity. At what was known as ¨the last supper¨ Jesus told his 12 disciples that one of them would betray him and he was right. Judus showed up in the morning with Roman soldiers and kissed Jesus in the cheek to identify him to the soldiers. He was famously crucified. He was crucified because he was identified as the King of the Jews and the only king allowed in the Roman empire was Caeser. He was taken down from the cross after being confirmed as dead and buried in a nearby tomb. Three days after his death his tomb was found empty. He had risen from the dead 40 days later at the top of Mount Olivet Jesus spoke his final words to his Disciples and ascended to the heavens.
