The Gupta empire stretched across almost all of India between 320 C.E and 355 C.E. During this time they saw advancements in the sciences arts, architecture, religion, and philosophy. Chandragupta started a rapid expansion of the empire as soon as he came to rule in 320 C.E. The Gupta Dynasty was the start of India's golden age in history lasting over two centuries.2.2
