Karen Blixen's Lifetime (apr 17, 1885 – sep 7, 1962)
Description:
In 1937, she wrote her most famous book, which was later adapted into a movie, Out of Africa. Later in 1950 she won the Danish Ingenio et Arti medal, and was shortlisted for the 1962 Nobel Prize for literature. Unfortunately she died that year and consequently was declared ineligible.
