The famous French explorer/navigator was born in December, 1491 between the days of the seventh to the twenty-third. He was born in Saint-Malo, France. He would become famous for leading three main voyages (1534, 1535-1536, 1541-1542) to the New World (Eastern American Seaboard) in Frances name.
