ANCIENT PERIOD (jan 1, 600 BC – jan 1, 401)
Description:
Ancient philosophy arises from the substitution of mythical knowledge for reason, and this happened in a specific context: the Greek polis (city-state). With this new social and political organization in which Greece flourished it was essential to give rise to human rationality and, with it, the thoughts of philosophers. Later, discussions that took place in the public square with the power of word and reason (logos) led to the creation of democracy.
And it's divided into:
Philosophy of nature (cosmological period)
Philosophy of man (anthropological period)
Period of large systems (epistemological-ontological)
Ethical Philosophy
Neoplatonism (religious period)
