First Continental Congress (sep 5, 1774 – oct 26, 1774)
Description:
First Continental Congress - The colonies all felt that Britain’s tyranny had gone too far. They had a meeting in Philadelphia called the first continental congress. Delegates from 12 of the colonies met up there, and devised a plan. Even though some of the loyalists, they all hated the British tyranny. There plan was to boycott British goods until intolerable acts were repealed.
