Quartering Act (may 3, 1765 – mar 24, 1776)
Description:
The act when Parliament (British Government) passed a law stating that all Colonists must let British Soldiers live and sleep in their homes. They must also supply food, water, and comfort to the soldiers. The colonists were very angry with this law.
