- He was born on August 26, 1763, in Paris, France and died on May 8, 1794, in Paris France.
- He created the Combustion Theory which was for Sound Mass Measurement.
- He believed that in chemical reactions matter was not created or destroyed.
- He did many experiments to prove this true. As a result, his theory known as the conservation of mass is known as the foundation of modern chemistry.
