French and Indian War was from 1754 - 1763 in North America. The war was between France and their native american allies and Britain and their native american allies. The war was fought because it was to decide whether Britain or France would be the major power in North America. The Indian fought on both side because they wanted there allies to be in charge and that they would give them benefits. The outcome was that Britain won the war. (jan 30, 1754 – jan 24, 1763)
