Stamp Act of !765 (mar 22, 1765 – mar 28, 1766)
Description:
On March 22, 1765 British Parliament that imposed a direct tax on the Thirteen Colonies and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper produced in London, carrying an embossed revenue stamp.
