The King's Mane: Chapter One (23h 41min, may 9, 2019 y – 1 h, may 11, 2019 y)
Description:
Eloy and his group go into the King's Mane, a forest named in honor of the King Leo, the late King of Reen. Now that his Son was in Rule, Prince Walsh was the one calling the shots, and they weren't very good shots. War has been going on for 4 years. Eloy has lost everything.
He and his team are making their way through the forest, on their way to the camp that lies deep in its heart. The team gets ambushed. Jordan is the first one down, leaving the 4 other members. They end up winning the battle (one of their members getting away. Eloy lets the kid run.)
They make their way into the camp and learn that the war is basically over.
Eloy is lead to his tent where someone is waiting for him. This is a man that he met the first half of war. He use to be filled with fun and laughter but the war turned him into something hard and cold. He asks Eloy if they could take a walk. Eloy agrees and goes with him to the camps edge. This is where the Man asks Eloy to come away with him. King Walsh was still in hiding and he was looking for a small group of people that will help him with the next task at hand.
Eloy turns him down and starts to walk away when the gun is drawn on him. He slowly turns back around. 'you know what it means to pull a gun on me.' And 'I hope you know what it means when I shoot you then." And with that he shoots Eloy, falls to the ground, but he grabs his own gun and shoots the man.
He stands a moment over his old friends dead body and sighed, "why did it have to come to this' before a few guards from the camp come to see what happened.
Eloy then goes and tells the camp what he had learned about the war,
They become the loosing side. The Other Side _____(don't have a name right now), the winning side, is taking over camps one by one. The soldiers that Eloy's men fought on their way there were mot likely scouts that were looking for this place. In the next few days the Other side will be at the camp in the King's Mane to take everyone back to the main land. Either to stand in line for the noose, or to head to captivity for their 'crimes' of war.
While the camp is moving around and talking about what they just heard, Eloy makes his way over to his tent to get patched up from being shot- again. Neither shot deadly, just painful. He packs up and heads for the gate of the camp when he is stopped by Morgan, one of his troops in the stores first 5 people. She knows that she can't stop him, but instead wishes him well and that 'this has been one hell of a trip, and hey maybe well see each other in another world.' Eloy smiles at her and thanks her for the memories, but he wouldn't be surprised if she'd be better off forgetting him and the war all together.
Forest Ambush. This is to show a bit more character development. To show the reader what Eloy has put up with for the past four years. Show death and destruction that is left in Eloys wake.
