Description:
Laurent Clerc was the foundation of the first School for the deaf. When he was a child he fell into a fire because of this, he was deaf for the rest of his life . Laurent went to a Paris Institute for Deaf people he excelled in his studies and became a teacher. He and Thomas met soon after that and Laurent taught him. Thomas and Laurent returned to America to make a school.Added to timeline:
