Thomas Gallaudet starts to get an interest in deaf culture. He did this after he met a deaf girl, and traveled to Europe to try and find better methods to communicate with deaf. He met Laurent Clerc there and they went back to the U.S. and made a school for the deaf.Added to timeline:
