Schrödinger (jan 30, 1926 – dec 24, 1926)
Description:
Austrian scientist Erwin Schrödinger disagreed with Bohr's idea of electrons being on fixed paths. He used a series of mathematical equations to determine the likelihood of an electron appearing in a certain position, narrowing it down to this radius around the nucleus. The electrons moving around sporadically in that radius caused some comparisons to a cloud, thus giving the model its name, the Electron Cloud Model.
