Etsy Software Engineer (may 1, 2016 – may 1, 2017)

I apply for a job at Etsy. (At the time it was a benefit corporation working to make a positive impact on society, workers, environment, and its communities in addition to profit.)
I feel lucky to be exposed to such intelligent and caring humans.
I'm part of a team to implement guest checkout on Etsy.com. I learn how to respond to alarms when payments get stuck in our payments state machine. I learn about blameless post-mortems.
