Western Zhou (jan 1, 1045 BC – jan 1, 771 BC)
Description:
King Tai moved the Zhou (non-chinese of the west) into modern Shandong. Once King Wu became emperor, he conquered the Shang Dynasty, with help from the mandate of heaven. When Wu died, his son was too young to take over, so his brother, the Duke of Zhou usurped the throne. King You, last Western Zhou emperor, was killed during a revolt while the rest of the Zhou fled East.
