Great depression (oct 29, 1929 – oct 29, 1939)
Description:
An economic depression that started in the United States during the 1930s. It started after the stock market crash which wiped out investors. spending and investment drastically went down and caused a decrease in industrial output and also employment because companies weren’t doing well and laid off workers. Many people did not have jobs and many banks failed.
