President Andrew Jackson, passed the Indian Removal Act.The Indian Removal Act gave the government power to Move Native Americans from the east to the west of the Mississippi River. This resulted in 16,000 Native Americans being marched over 1,200 miles of rugged land causing 4,000 people lost their lives.These people went through hunger, disease, and exhaustion.Added to timeline:
