Description:
George Washington’s Farewell Address advised Americans to keep away from extreme political party spirit and to be careful with alliances. His address was 32 pages long and was handwritten. The US listened to Washington's advice and they stayed away from permanent military alliances. They would always go back to his address for advice.Added to timeline:
