Description:
During World War the CRC helped out much like they did in the First World War. By sending over doctors, food, and medical supplies. But, this time they also helped civilian victims of war and worked together with the British and American Red Cross Societies. The Second World War also led to many donations , helping them bounce back from the great depression. The Second World War also started the blood donation program, which was needed when soldiers needed blood transfusion.Added to timeline:
