Description:
Both the British and France had land in North America, the British and the colonists wanted the land in the Ohio River Valley. But France also claimed that land so the colonists and Indians of both countries fought in a war called the French and Indian War. Britain had won the war with serious debt almost ruining parliament. The colonists had celebrated thinking they were going to be able to settle the new land.Added to timeline:
