The French and Indian War (nov 7, 1754 – mar 21, 1763)
Description:
 The colonists began settling in the Ohio River Valley and were met with resistance by the French, who claimed the land, and the American Indians, who occupied the territory. Great Britain and the colonists fought and defeated the French and the Indians. As a result, the French gave the land to Britain.
