Inca Empire (jan 2, 1438 – jan 1, 1533)

Description:

The most extensive empire in pre-Columbian America, as well as one of the most extensive empires of the 16th century. The Empire held much of South America, centered on the Andes mountain range. They conquered through mostly peaceful methods but did wage war. The Inca Empire was the final example of Andean civilization. The Incas had a unique economy, not using money or markets and instead using exchange of goods and services as well as labour obligations in the place of monetary taxes.
