Great Famine (jan 6, 1315 – jul 14, 1326)
Description:
Caused by the decreased agricultural output of the Little Ice Age, food became more expensive as crops were destroyed by changing climate conditions. As a result, individuals were more susceptible to disease and death rates increased due to famine. The age of marriage decreased and birth rate also decreased, resulting in decrease in births.
