Description:
The Devonian Period was when there were several major fish lineages that evolved at that time. This period had provided that there were 365 days in a year. The climate was warm and the sea levels were high. There were many animals, for example, tetrapods, land-living vertebrates, arthropods, wingless insects and the earliest arachnids. In the oceans, brachiopods flourished.
