Description:
Beginning right after the worst mass extinction, Earth spent this time recovering the shock. The Triassic period was characterized for its heat, deserts, and awfully warm oceans. Even in the polar regions, great green forests grew. The lack of animal life along with the environmental conditions, opened up evolutionary opportunities. As Pangaea began to break apart, the very first mammals and dinosaurs evolved. Ending how it begun, many species' went extinct.
