Description:
The Permian Period began with an ice age and ended in what is considered the most devastating mass extinction on earth. This is also when all the continents and bodies of land formed into Pangaea. when the globe warmed, the oxygen levels plummeted from 35% to what we have today, a whopping 21%. Animals included an array of invertebrates and Lizard-type creatures.
