Removal of Chattel Slavery (mar 18, 1800 – mar 3, 1900)

Description:

Slavery in the Americas where slaves were Brough in from West Africa. Prior to European contact there were 2 main types of slavery: spiritual and human. Spiritual slavery was enslavement (usually of women and children) to a god or goddess (I.E Goddess Afuru) and they dedicate their lives to pleasing them as these gods/goddesses are responsible for everything good and bad that happens to these people.
