Description:
The Dragonfly Island Period is a short lived stretch of time when large parts of southern japan (all of kyushu and shikoku, tsushima, jeju, and half of chuboku) were under the domain of what is known as the Dragonfly court. This period saw the development of a koiné of insular japonic called simply Kyōtsūgo.
