The Article of Confederation (mar 1, 1777 – may 25, 1787)
Description:
It was our governing document in early America. Was fist introduced in 1777 but wasnt accepted by all 13 colonies or states until 1781.it was very weak and lacked unity but did allow settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains and the Northwest Ordinance of 1787. Articles lasted till about 1787.
