Highway 54 Incident (20 h, may 15, 1999 y – 20h 30min, may 15, 1999 y)

Description:

"On May 15th, 1999, at around 8:00 PM, reports of a strong burst of light above Highway 54 near Corona, New Mexico were received by local police. For about 30 minutes after the flash, an unidentified flying object about 20 kilometers in diameter was seen hovering 400 feet above the highway. The object was described as being covered in white feathers with massive wings stretching out in all directions. Golden rings were encircling the object, emitting flashes of bright golden light intermittently. The rings had a continuous sparkling texture with unknown glyphs scattered throughout. The object appeared to have hundreds of deep black eyes located om the center where its wings met. Some metallic components were visible admist the white feathers. Only one photograph of the object was taken before the form disappeared in a flash of light. Witnesses described a runic symbol appearing in the sky around the object before it disappeared. Witnesses within a 10-mile radius of the object reported feeling an overwhelming sense of relaxation upon viewing the object. The sensation lasted for several minutes. Other described the sound of whispering voices as the object appeared. Immediately following the object's disappearance. and elderly man appeared walking alongside Highway 54. Witnesses described the man to be in his 80s, with long white hair and a white beard. He wore white robes and carried a walking stick."
