MC LAGUNA Roger Dickerson Approx. body found (6 h, jun 22, 1974 y – 11h 30min, jun 23, 1974 y)

Description:

"Found Saturday [6/22/74]. [...] Police said the body was discovered about 5:15pm by a passerby" (LBI 6/23/74).

"Discovered Saturday afternoon [6/22/74]. [...] According to reports, the body was discovered by a resident on the street" (AB 6/24/74).

"Died as a result of strangulation on or before June 22 while on liberty at Laguna Beach" (Obit 7/3/74).

"Found strangled early June 23 [1974]. [...] [His father] said he had talked to his son by telephone the night of June 21 and the Marine was taking a liberty pass to the beach from his assignment to a reconnaissance battalion of the First Marine Division at Camp Pendleton. [...] The body was found near the beach the morning of June 23 without any identification on it" (ADH 7/3/74).
