Description:
Judah Halevi was one of the greatest Jewish poets and philosophers of medieval Spain. He wrote religious poems, Zion poems, and the famous philosophical work The Kuzari, which presents a defense of Judaism through a dialogue about faith, revelation, and the people of Israel. He is especially important for expressing deep longing for Zion while living in exile.
