King Hezekiah (Judah) (jan 1, 716 BC – jan 1, 687 BC)

Description:

Hezekiah was one of Judah’s greatest kings. He carried out major religious reforms, removing idols and centralizing worship in Jerusalem. He trusted God during the Assyrian invasion under Sennacherib, and through the prophet Isaiah, Jerusalem was miraculously saved. However, later in life, Hezekiah showed pride by displaying his treasures to Babylonian envoys, which led to a prophecy of future exile. His reign represents both deep faith and a warning about later consequences.
