Description:
Joash became king as a child under the guidance of the priest Jehoiada and initially restored the Temple and followed God. However, after Jehoiada’s death, he turned to idolatry. When the prophet Zechariah (son of Jehoiada) rebuked him, Joash had him killed—showing a dramatic fall. His reign ends with conspiracy and assassination.
