King Jehoram (Israel) (jan 1, 852 BC – jan 1, 841 BC)
Description:
Jehoram removed the specific Baal pillar of his father but did not abandon the broader system of sin (golden calves). His reign is marked by frequent interaction with the prophet Elisha, who advised and sometimes miraculously assisted Israel in times of war, especially against Aram. Despite these prophetic interactions, Jehoram never fully committed to God. His reign ended violently when Jehu led a divinely sanctioned coup.
