King David (jan 1, 1010 BC – jan 1, 970 BC)
Description:
David unified Israel, conquered Jerusalem, and established it as the capital. He expanded the kingdom and brought the Ark to Jerusalem. He maintained a close relationship with prophets like Nathan, who rebuked him after the Bathsheba incident—his major moral failure. Despite this, David repented deeply and is remembered as an ideal king whose dynasty was promised continuity.
