The great defense war (mar 27, 2026 – mar 30, 2026)

Description:

The Great Defense War was the conflict between the Duchy of the Inopenses and the Inostropian Republic. It began with the successful Inopense invasion of Inostropia and ended with the Inostropian counteroffensive and the death of Ambiorigius, the Duke of the Inopenses.

Following their initial invasion, the Inopenses gained control over nearly all former Inostropian territories. The only exception was Dorossia, which remained firmly under Inostropian control. From this city, resistance continued to grow. In the following days, the Inostropians engaged in guerrilla warfare, briefly retaking several settlements before losing them again, making the situation highly unstable for both sides.

Three days after the invasion, Inostropia launched a coordinated large-scale counteroffensive originating from Dorossia. The Inostropian National Army systematically recaptured territory one settlement at a time, including Afkara, former Tientia, P.I.G., Pine Hills, Alpach (which required no real combat as it was already unoccupied), Inostropia City, Stormhaven, and Krasnoye. The District of the Main Island was reclaimed separately by Levvanderr.

During the final stages of the campaign in Krasnoye, Duke Ambiorigius was killed, along with the remaining Inopense forces. With his death, the Duchy of the Inopenses collapsed, bringing the war to an end.

Despite the scale of the conflict, structural damage across Inostropia remained relatively limited. The most significant losses were human rather than architectural, as many players lost gear, armor, and lives during the fighting. However, recovery proceeded quickly, and stability was soon restored across the republic.
