10.) Napoleon Takes Power (nov 9, 1799 – nov 10, 1799)

Description:

Napoleon initially took power while France was experiencing severe political and economical instability, and capitalized on that. He was also very popular in the military, so he was seen as a sort of savior for France. This mattered since it ended the instability that had been happening for so long, and established a strong central government. It also implemented the Napoleonic Code, which solidified legal equality.
