Fanil Fanisovich Sarvarov was a Russian lieutenant general who served as deputy chief of the Operational Training Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. Sarvarov was part of combat operations in the East Prigorodny conflict and of the Second Chechen War in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
