The Quartering Act (may 15, 1765 – mar 24, 1767)
Description:
The Quartering Act was an act that required the colonies to provide housing for British soldiers. Colonies were required to provide barracks for the soldiers to live in. But if these barracks were too small, they had to house the soldiers in other places, if these places were not livable colonists had to make them habitable.
